F&I Dispute Attorneys

DLM LAW represents clients in automobile finance and insurance (F&I) disputes.

With patience and hard work, you built your agency one dealer at a time. Now a problem you didn't anticipate threatens to take it all away. You don't need an attorney willing to learn on the job. You need someone who understands your business. DLM LAW has been representing clients in the F&l industry for almost two decades and our results speak for themselves. We have taken on some of the largest players in the industry and recovered millions of dollars in arbitrations and in litigation throughout the United States.

Let us put our knowledge and expertise to work for you.

  • Termination of Agency
Relationships between agents and administrators rarely last forever. At some point, for reasons that may have little or nothing to do with your performance, your agency may be terminated. What happens next?In the absence of contrary language in your agent agreement, you may be entitled to continuing commissions from the dealerships you serviced while your agreement was in force. This may be true even if the administrator appoints a new agent to service the account. Also, if the administrator was obligated to pay you post-terminations commissions and failed to do so, you may be able to avoid liability for any post-termination chargebacks. Knowing your rights is critical so you don't take any actions which might cost you money in the near or long term. Bartle & Marcus has represented scores of agents in disputes involving the termination of their agency agreements. We know the things to look for in an agreement to determine whether an administrator crossed the line and has dealt with an agent unfairly. Let us put our experience to work for you.
  • Agency Acquisition Disputes
  • Agent Commission Disputes
  • Agent of Record Change
  • Coverage Disputes
  • Tortious Interference with Dealer Relationships (Unfair Competition)
